What awaits the athleths?

The premiere of the Kitzbüheler Radmarathon takes place on 11 July. With its 216 kilometres and 4,600 metres of altitude, it is one of the toughest marathons in Europe. Four challenges await the participants: From the Gamsstadt Kitzbühel the route leads over the Pass Thurn, the Gerlos Pass, the Kerschbaumer Sattel and in the grand finale up the breathtaking Kitzbüheler Horn.

Starting spots available

So far we have more than 650 participants and we expect significantly more. Many cyclists are hot for the races after the long time without marathons“, adds Steinberger. In the individual classification, the athletes will contest 216 km and 4,600 hm. There is also the possibility to start in a relay: the race is divided into the categories women, men and mixed. The respective sections are divided into 50, 75 and 96 kilometres. Only a limited number of places are still available for the relay.
