Porsche Inter Auto and Škoda Austria are the new partners of the Kitzbühel Cycling Marathon (KRM) starting in 2024, supporting the vehicle fleet during the race. The use of electric cars is already proving effective in ongoing route checks.

A good ride is important for everyone, but especially in cycling races, the choice, equipment, and form of the right bike are crucial for safely crossing the finish line. Equally important for organizers is having reliable partners by their side to provide the right vehicles. With the traditional company Porsche Inter Auto and the car manufacturer Škoda, the KRM has found such partners starting in 2024. The provided fleet includes the fully electric bestseller Škoda Enyaq, the recently introduced Superb Combi, and the new Škoda Kodiaq.

“We are very happy that PIA and Škoda support us with cars for the race and throughout the year. Whether at the training camp with Andy Schleck or the regular route checks – we can always rely on the vehicles,” said the management team Marina Janda and Franz Steinberger. The provision of electric cars is an additional, significant bonus, as sustainability and resource conservation are important points for the KRM.

“We are proud to announce that Porsche Inter Auto is supporting this year’s Kitzbühel Cycling Marathon! Together we are driving the passion for sport and excellence forward. Be there when the wheels roll and hearts race,” emphasized Andreas Maier, Managing Director of the Porsche Inter Auto Tirol group, regarding the collaboration. “We love Cycling! Škoda and cycling belong together – and that’s been the case since the brand’s inception in 1895,” underlined the car manufacturer’s commitment.
