Kitzbüheler Radmarathon 2023 in August

The 2nd edition of the Kitzbüheler Radmarathon will take place on July 10, 2022. Next year, the “super steep” event will be held on a later date, in the most legendary sports town in the Alps on Sunday, August 27, 2023.
There are still 50 days to go until the second edition of the KRM, but the planning has already started for next year as well. “In 2023, the Kitzbüheler Radmrathon will take place on Sunday, August 27,” says organizer Franz Steinberger. The date at the end of August has already proven itself in the past at other major marathon events. “This gives participants even more time to prepare for the KRM challenge,” says Steinberger. After all, there are 4600 meters of altitude to overcome over 216 kilometers, some of which are “super steep.”

Record number of participants and new side program

For the second edition on July 10, 2022, a record number of participants is expected. The number of registrations is significantly higher than last year. New this year in the extensive side program is the KRM Pasta Party on Saturday in the Kitzbühel Sports Park. From 12 noon to 7 p.m., participants can fill up their stores with pasta or traditional Austrian dishes such as Kaiserschmarrn. In addition to the culinary refreshment, there will also be the opportunity to exchange ideas with other participants.
