The “Bergsteiger” are in

We are very pleased: The traditional Austrian company Wiesbauer is the new sponsor of the Kitzbüheler Radmarathon. That means the KRM has another strong partner with a love of cycling and deeply rooted Austrian origins at its side. Thank you and welcome!

Wiesbauer and the KRM

“One of the most traditional sponsors in Austrian cycling is the Wiesbauer company. We are very pleased that the managing director Thomas Schmiedbauer, himself a passionate cyclist, has decided to present his company at the 1st Kitzbüheler Radmarathon”, says organiser Franz Steinberger about the new sponsor of the Kitzbüheler Radmarathon.

Thanks to Wiesbauer, all participants can look forward to delicacies. For example, the premium sponsor will provide the starter bags with the delicious Bergsteiger Junior Snack. There will also be a tasty prize to be won at the KRM raffle.

It will also be tasty on the podium! The fastest in some categories can look forward to the coveted “Giant Mountaineer” – see picture.

As a race with many mountain stages and massive metres of altitude, we are happy to have the Wiesbauer “Bergsteiger-Familie” with us!

“Not only has the Wiesbauer brand been closely associated with cycling for many years, I also love cycling myself. That’s why I am particularly pleased to support the athletes and organisers of the first Kitzbüheler Radmarathon as a premium sponsor. After all, cycling needs drive just as much as we do in our company”, says Thomas Schmiedbauer – Managing Director of Wiesbauer Wien – explaining his great commitment to cycling.

A Company with a Tradition – Typically Austrian

When the values are right, the partnership is also right. In the case of the Wiesbauer company, which has its headquarters in Vienna, this is absolutely correct. As a company, Wiesbauer is known for highest quality and best taste as well as regionality, tradition and family, which makes it perfect as a sponsor of the Kitzbüheler Radmarathon. Their love for cycling is exemplary and it is impossible to imagine Austria without the company. The inventors of the Bergsteiger sausage founded the company in 1931 – it is still family-owned today.
